Coronation House Dentist has supported patients from Nambour and surrounding communities since 1964. As a locally owned practice, we focus on continuity of care, informed treatment planning and long-standing patient relationships. Our clinic has been recently refurbished and equipped with updated dental technology in a clinically prepared environment.
We are a BUPA Platinum Provider and also a preferred provider for HCF and NIB. Patients can access on-the-spot claiming and flexible payment options including Medipay, Afterpay and Supercare. We welcome individuals and families from Nambour, Palmwoods, Diddillibah–Rosemount and Buderim and offer care for all ages, backgrounds, needs and stages of life.
We believe dental care should be clinically sound, accessible and clearly communicated. Our goal is to support oral health outcomes that suit each person’s needs with services delivered in private rooms and aligned with best practice standards.

Dr Francois McDonald
BChd (Pret), PGradDIP (Implants), Masters Course Implants(Gide)
Dr Francois McDonald brings over 19 years of dental experience with him to Coronation House Dental. Dr Francois graduated from the University of Pretoria South Africa in 2006 and immigrated to Australia in 2010. I understand that going to the dentist can be stressful, that’s why we focus on clear communication, gentle care and a strong patient-provider relationship.
I am committed to the dental health of our patients, because what most people don’t realise is that everything health related starts in the mouth. Poor dental health can have a terribly detrimental effect on overall health.
While Dr McDonald can look after all aspects of dental health for patients of all ages, his real passion lies with implant treatment.
I completed post graduate studies in implants because this is an aspect of dentistry that I find incredibly rewarding.
Some of our implant patients have been self conscious about their teeth their entire lives. Watching the transformation is just incredible, and it happens relatively quickly.
Often, people are in tears when the treatment is done. They go from being people who never smile, to people who can’t stop smiling. It can be life changing for them.
Helping someone regain confidence through implants is something I never tire of.
It’s not just about function — it’s about self-worth. That transformation stays with you.
Outside of dentistry I enjoy playing golf and watching sports as well as spending time with my small family.
Dr Lorena Diaz

Dr. Lorena Diaz is a devoted and compassionate dentist known for her gentle touch and genuine care for every patient she meets. She believes that creating a warm, welcoming environment is just as important as providing excellent dental care. Her friendly, loving nature puts patients of all ages at ease, and she takes the time to listen, explain, and personalise each visit to ensure the best possible experience.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Diaz is proud to serve a diverse community, making sure every patient feels heard and understood.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Lorena loves spending quality time with her husband and their two precious girls. Whether at work or at home, she brings the same warmth, care, and kindness that define who she is—both as a dentist and as a person.
Dr Grace Luy Manuel
Dr Grace is a dedicated and passionate dentist who believes in creating positive experiences for her patients.
Originally from the Philippines, she earned her dental degree from the University of the East in Manila and successfully passed the Australian Dental Council (ADC) exam in 2017. Since then, she has been providing exceptional dental care in New Zealand until relocating to the Sunshine Coast in June 2024.
With a strong commitment to patient satisfaction, Dr. Grace has a special interest in restorative dentistry and enjoys educating her patients about periodontal disease and the importance of oral hygiene. Her goal is to ensure that every patient feels satisfied and well-informed about their dental health. Outside of her professional life, Dr Grace enjoys spending quality time with her husband, a registered nurse, and their two young boys.
They love outdoor dining, swimming, and beach outings, often spending weekends with friends. In her spare time, Dr Grace indulges her passion for baking, creating delicious treats for her family and loved ones. With a friendly smile and a genuine approach to dentistry, Dr Grace looks forward to welcoming you and helping you achieve your dental health goals!
Dr Andrea Chilro Meyer

Hello, I’m Dr Andrea Meyer, I am a South African Dentist who qualified at the University of Pretoria in 2019 and completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics 2023. I’m thrilled to be part of the team at Coronation House Dentist.
I have a particular passion for endodontics and orthodontics, and I believe in a conservative approach to dentistry — one that respects biology and aims to preserve the natural teeth God gave us whenever possible.
Whether I’m helping to relieve pain through root canal therapy or guiding a smile into alignment, my focus is always on long-term health, function, and comfort. I’m excited to work alongside the wonderful team here and to support our patients in achieving healthy, confident smiles — in a way that honors both science and nature.

Outside of dentistry I enjoy expressing my creativity through art and dance, also enjoy spending time outdoors exploring nature with my loving Husband.
